The Merkury MI-BG-N50 Battery Grip for the Nikon D50 & D70 provides a secure rubber coated grip to enhance camera control for vertical, portrait-format shooting. The MI-BG-N50 fits into the battery compartment in place of your EN-EL3 and is secured via the camera’s tripod socket. For your convenience, the grip is equipped with its own steel tripod mount on its base.
This versatile accessory also can either utilize two, for twice the OEM power, (2) EN-EL3/ EN-EL3A lithium-ion batteries, enabling you to shoot significantly more images before having to worry about recharging your batteries. For even more versatility, the AA Battery Adapter Tray Kit is included to economically and conveniently power your camera using six AA size batteries if your EN-EL3’s are discharged or not available.
