How does the Service Protection Plan work?
The Priority Service Program is a mirror of the manufacturers warranty, but with a few added features. Phillips offers electrical surge and lightning protection without requiring any additional hardware. Phillips covers the remote control for the full term of the contract, as well as on-site service for most products. If the product is found to be not repairable or deemed to be uneconomical to repair, the product is replaced. There is no deductible, co-pay or any hidden costs. When the freight is covered for units that need to be shipped to repair stations.

The most important reason for purchasing a Priority Service Contract is customer service. Phillips' primary goal is to help ensure that the you receive many years of enjoyment from the product you purchase.

Who provides the service? 
 One of our 1500 service centers Nationwide. If original manufacturer's warranty has expired just call Phillips nationwide toll-free customer service line for a conveniently located service center.
 If it is determined that your product can no longer be repaired, it will be replaced with a new product of like kind and quality.

How long does the Service Protection Plan last?
This Priority Service Program provides you with five total years of coverage from the product purchase date. This includes the period of time that the manufacturer's warranty is in effect. Phillips coverage begins upon expiration of the manufacturer's labor warranty. There are no deductibles or hidden costs.

Annual Check-Up
You will appreciate a yearly check-up and maintenance service. Professionals will check tubes, tuners, screen burn in, pixel damage, glass display elements, as well as switches and sensors.

Philips Priority Service SUCKS!!! I made a claim, was put on hold for a few minutes, then the guy told me that he can't keep me on hold very long and that I would have to wait for the "2nd level support" to call me back. That was a week ago, still have not heard from them. I called twice today, was told the same thing by two different people after being put on hold for a few minutes. They obviously are overswamped or don't place a priority on service... I will never purchase a Philips Priority Service warranty again!

Don't waste your money. I had to change my own bulb when it prematurely burnt out. They would not cover labor. Now less than 1.5 years and another burnt bulb later, they will not cover a second bulb either. I have another year left on my (EXTENDED WARRANTY) so I asked them to send a technician out to troubleshoot the cause of the short bulb life. They said no and politely told me to F#%CK Myself!!! Not at all worth the purchase!!!!!!!
